Conclusion
However I believe this isn’t a good way to bridge the gap; this is the easy way for big companies to get rid of all their old computers and computer parts. The companies think they are helping but in my opinion they aren’t. They are causing respiratory problems for the children who strip these computers apart and burn the plastic away so they can then sell the copper wire for recycling later. The children breathe in these fumes. As often they work in unsafe, unregulated conditions without access to safety equipment. Also the companies don’t send anyone to help these people operate these old computers or maintain them. I feel the gap is getting bigger and is going to stay this way because the solutions that are being done aren’t helping much when compared to how technology is advancing at a fast rate. Before different organisations start providing technology I think they should get rid of the main problems like poverty and famine.
