From personal experience, my school has 10 fixed projectors fitted into classrooms and we have 70 computers and 5 printers. We also have Wifi and a network which allows students to save their work on a server which is protected by a user name and a password. Pre information age students would not have this and they would have to rely on pen and paper to take down notes. Writing notes down with pen and paper is really hard for dyslexic students who struggle reading and writing.
There is a big division known as the digital divide. This stops the people, who cannot access technology, from gaining more knowledge than people who can access technology. This causes an even bigger divide and stops people from obtaining the jobs they desire because they cannot aquire the qualifications they need. So the less economically developed countries become even less economically developed and the divide increases.
Students now can actually take courses like a-levels online and get the qualifications they want. This helps people who are disabled people get education and saves them the hassle of travelling to school. Technology has erased physical boundaries. http://www.edudemic.com/a-primer-3-ways-technology-has-changed-education/ .
